Decatur has announced a new tool, MyDecaturGa, allowing residents, visitors and business owners to document neighborhood concerns ranging from graffiti and code violations to damaged sidewalks and potholes. Reports can be filed online or with a smartphone and are monitored by city employees who will acknowledge the service request and update the request once it has been resolved.
According to City Manager Peggy Merriss, the MyDecaturGa app “makes it easy to include a photo and exact location of an issue,” which can include, among others, cemetery issues, city trees and park maintenance request, code violations, missed sanitation collection, parking issues and out-of-town requests.
You can go to SeeClickFix.com to create a login and report an issue or download the free app from the Apple or Google Play stores by searching for “MyDecaturGa.”
