The Cumming Library will close Monday, Oct. 14, for a seven-week renovation, Forsyth County library officials announced.
“It’s important to be good stewards of the funds entrusted to us by the state Legislature, Georgia Public Library Service, residents of Forsyth County, and the Board of Commissioners,” said Library Directory Anna Lyle. “We’re maximizing the generous state grant and local matching funds by refurbishing the interior and repurposing certain areas of the library.”
The Cumming Library, 585 Dahlonega St., will help patrons arrange to obtain books and materials at Forsyth's three other branch libraries, officials said. Materials checked out after Sept. 30 from the Cumming branch will be assigned due dates after the library reopens Monday, Dec. 2. Information: https://bit.ly/2ljwVnX
