A Planet Smoothie employee was arrested and charged with retaining customers' credit card numbers and using them for himself, Atlanta police said Friday.
Dontazz Smith, 33, an employee at the Planet Smoothie at 2900 Peachtree Street NE, was arrested on Fulton County Magistrate Court warrants for financial transaction card theft, police said.
Smith has admitted to stealing more than 130 credit card numbers over the last year, police said.
Authorities are only aware of American Express customers who have been affected. Police said Smith has admitted taking Visa and MasterCard numbers, too.
