A DeKalb County non-profit group that provides help for those facing homelessness and hunger will hold a benefit concert this weekend.
The Decatur Civic Chorus, Avondale Children’s Choir and choir from the DeKalb School of Fine Arts will be featured at the concert, which begins at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Decatur.
Attendance is $10 for adults and two canned goods for children. The Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry will use the proceeds for its programs such as financial aid for utilities and emergency food.
