The College Park City Council will request a public hearing at the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at College Park City Hall Council Chambers, 3667 Main St. The hearing is about rezoning 5111 and 5135 West Fayetteville Road for the construction of College Park Fire Station No. 3.

The Council will also request approval to upgrade the CCTV control system and cameras at the Georgia International Convention Center. Another agenda item is seeking approval to use funds awarded through the 2016 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant program for off-system safety projects. The grant, offered by the Georgia Department of Transportation, is generally only used for road improvements and related expenses.
