Four electrical vehicle charging stations will be built for public use by Cobb County government.

Cost to users will be 85 cents for every 30 minutes.

Locations:

  • Cobb County Board of Commissioners parking deck, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta
  • New parking deck, 191 Lawrence St., Marietta
  • Motor Vehicle Division, Tag Office, 700 South Cobb Drive, Marietta
  • Charles D. Switzer Main Library, 266 Roswell St., Marietta

The county will pay $27,379 for the installations with the remainder of $23,286 to be paid by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority with federal funds.
