The Cobb County Board of Education will hold an employee salary hearing at 6:00 p.m. May 31 followed by a budget hearing at 6:30 p.m. The salary hearing is because under the proposed budget, employees will have to take two furlough days and some will not receive a scheduled salary step increase until mid-year. The meetings will take place at the district's headquarters, 514 Glover Street, in Marietta.
