Comments are invited through Aug. 18 on two health assessments for Cobb and Douglas counties.
The plans being reviewed are the 2016 Cobb & Douglas Community Health Assessment and 2017-2021 Cobb & Douglas Community Health Improvement Plan.
With this assessment conducted every three to five years, the CHA provides a comprehensive picture of what is happening with health in Cobb and Douglas.
The CHIP outlines a five-year action plan to improve the health of Cobb and Douglas residents based on needs identified in the CHA.
The final CHA/CHIP reports will be published in September.
After reading the CHA and CHIP reports, the online survey should take up to 10 minutes to complete.
Those providing their contact information will be entered to win a $25 Walmart gift card with 10 winners and will be linked to further communication regarding the reports.
