An alleged member of MS-13 was recently arrested by Cobb County police in a drive-by gang shooting case from May.

Walter Alex Flores-Sanchez, of Marietta, was booked Friday on various felony charges of aggravated assault and gang involvement, jail records show.

There is no mention of anyone being injured during the alleged May 8 drive-by shooting according to a Cobb police warrant.

According to the warrant, several MS-13 members had fought a suspected member of the Crips earlier that day.

Flores-Sanchez and other MS-13 members then drove back to the The Reserve at Windy Hill Apartments on Hammondton Road, cops said, and found who they were looking for.

From the back seat, Flores-Sanchez fired a pistol four times at the victim, who is only described by police as a 15-year-old boy.

After the shooting, “several of the people in the vehicle displayed gang hand signs and cheered,” the warrant said.

Cops said the shooting was seen by several juveniles and partially caught on video from inside the vehicle.

Investigators said Flores-Sanchez was identified as part of the gang by other MS-13 members and went by the name “El Adicto.”

He remains in Cobb jail without bond, where he also has a hold from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
