Clayton County Schools leaders on Friday unveiled a link on the district’s website to keep residents informed of efforts to avoid coronavirus and any issues if they arise.

The school system, which had not had any reports of coronavirus as of early Friday evening, created a page to update parents, employees and others of what’s being done to keep students safe.

The link, https://www.clayton.k12.ga.us/cms/One.aspx?portalId=54515&pageId=23568134, provides weekly updates of the district's efforts.

“The district has established this webpage to serve as a one-stop connection to all information related to Clayton Public Schools’ response to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19),” the district said in an email.

“Featuring key information relative to weekly updates from district leaders and detailed district plans, all information connected here will be updated as more becomes known about this disease and as associated data becomes available,” the school system wrote.
