City of Chamblee Police will be patrolling the city’s streets with their units’ “cruise” lights on.
Cruise lights are the static blue lights on top of the vehicles. Studies have shown these lights deter crime, assist residents and others to locate officers in times of need and to help ID vehicles easily. The impetus behind this is the Chamblee Police Department continues to strategically plan ways of providing innovative ways to increase our quality of service in conjunction with our City’s priorities of Quality Government Service and a Safe Living Environment.
