The City of Chamblee is nearing completion on its streetscape improvements on Chamblee Dunwoody Road from Peachtree Boulevard to Harts Mill Road. Within the next month, final aspects of the project will be finished, including:

• Paving the Chamblee Dunwoody Road from Peachtree Boulevard to Harts Mill Road, scheduled for November 20th;

• Installation of a crosswalk on Peachtree Boulevard with a functional pedestrian signal;

• Installation of small, decorative bollards (small barriers that guide traffic and protect property) in front of Chamblee Charter High School Plaza;

• Relocation of utility poles along Chamblee Dunwoody Road; and

• Striping the road after paving is complete.

This tentative schedule is dependent on weather. City officials urge residents to use caution while traveling through the work zone and watch for workers and pedestrians.
