Canton is updating its comprehensive plan, and it's inviting residents to help by completing an online survey that will help the city decide on key principals to guide its decision-making for the next 20 years.

The survey is available in English and Spanish at http://bit.ly/2Abg23G.

“Your input will help guide preliminary planning concepts to be generated through a series of public meetings to be held throughout the planning process,” the city said in a statement. “The survey is organized in multiple sections: questions about the components of the plan, demographics and other general questions.”

The next public meeting and workshop on the Canton 2040 Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for 6 p.m., Dec. 19, on the third floor of Canton City Hall, 151 Elizabeth St.
