Emory University's Candler School of Theology and The General Theological Seminary in New York are offering a joint continuing education program in building peace and how to use conflict as means to generate positive change..

The inaugural program will be held from Jan. 9 through Jan. 12, 2013 at the Desmond Tutu Center on the GTS campus.

"Practical Peacebuilding: Skills and Spiritual Practices for Conflict Transformation" is designed for clergy, church leaders and others who are interested in developing the needed skills.

This is the first collaborative education program of the Candler-GTS partnership, which includes student and faculty exchanges. For information: 404-727-1276.
