Body found in vacant house on English Avenue

A body was found Wednesday afternoon in a vacant house in Atlanta’s English Avenue neighborhood.

Atlanta homicide detectives investigated in the 600 block of English Avenue, police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Bender said.

The body was discovered at 12:30 p.m. after someone called 911.

Police have found the body of a Nebraska woman who disappeared. Sydney Loofe, 24, vanished three weeks ago after a Tinder date. Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, 23, are persons of interest in the case, police said. Loofe's parents asked on social media for prayers for their family.
