Austell City Council officials will review a special land use permit during their pre-agenda meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in Council Chamber, City Hall, 2716 Broad St. SW that was recommend for denial by the planning and zoning commission.
A final public hearing and vote are expected by the city council at 7 p.m. April 6, also in Council Chamber.

This use “does not flow” with the city’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan for this area, which is to be Neighborhood Commercial, the city’s Community Affairs Department director Jim Graham said.
Now zoned General Commercial, this site consists of 1.4 acres and contains a 675-square-foot brick structure, according to the city’s Community Affairs Department analysis.
