Several Georgia public colleges have extended registration deadlines because the snow storm forced officials to cancel classes and postpone the start of the new semester.

The University of Georgia extended spring semester drop/add deadlines for a three days to accommodate missed classes, officials.

Georgia Tech extended its deadline to Jan. 21.

Georgia State University extended late registration through Jan. 18 because of the closings and cancellations.

Additional information is posted on college web sites. Officials said students should contact the campus if they have any questions.
