The city of Atlanta announced Tuesday, Sept. 29, that Cathryn Ferrigno Marchman is the new executive director of Partners for H.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities Made for Everyone), an organization that aims to end homelessness in Atlanta. Partners for HOME will operate out of Atlanta City Hall. The organization will seek to become a designated fiscal agent by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, securing private and public funds for programs and coordinate homelessness-ending efforts across the city.
“Cathryn and I are united in our shared vision and commitment to ending and preventing homeless in Atlanta,” said Mayor Kasim Reed. “With her leadership, Partners for HOME will build on the success my administration has had in housing homeless veterans and will utilize the flexibility of a public-private partnership to meet our ambitious but necessary goals.”
