The Atlanta Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners on Wednesday approved a $265 million budget for fiscal year 2013, which begins July 1. The approved budget will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development later this month. AHA, one of the largest public agencies in the state, coordinates housing voucher programs and works with more than 50,000 residents, many of whom live in mixed-use, mixed-income communities.
