Alpharetta has announced a “Music Match” program that matches musicians and businesses for more than 40 performances during 2020, “utilizing local venues (to provide) multiple listening opportunities and fun music engagements.”

The initiative is part of the larger Alpharetta Music Project Strategy to support live performances, educational programs for all ages, exposure to all music genres, and classes at the Alpharetta Arts Center, according to a city announcement.

“By completing an online application, a business can simply request a music genre,” the city said. “The city will match their music funds and a professional producer will then find the best musician for the business’s unique space and style.”

The program has the support of Fulton County Arts & Culture and the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. Applications are being accepted from city businesses, restaurants, retailers and corporations. Information: kzane@alpharetta.ga.us or https://bit.ly/2XwLraN
