AeroATL Greenway Plan will officially launch this month with the selected consultant team, Sizemore Group. During the project’s first phase, the team will gather input from stakeholders and the public through a variety of interviews, charrettes and public meetings. The Aerotropolis Atlanta CIDs released a Request for Qualifications for a Transit Feasibility Study to kick off end of 2017 / beginning of 2018. Proposals are due no later than 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
The CIDs have partnered with the City of East Point to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Market Place Blvd. and Shelby Lane. The plan is in final design with construction expected to begin just after the first of the year. This project will help to alleviate congestion throughout the day by allowing a continuous flow of traffic.
