Local musicians say they're out more than $100,000 worth of equipment after a break-in at an in-home recording studio in DeKalb County.

At least three gunmen broke into the Old Coach Court home early Friday and held a woman at gunpoint in an upstairs bedroom, the woman, Timiko Rogers, told Channel 2 Action News.

Rogers said she was asleep when the burglar alarm sounded, waking her up.

"Grabbed my phone, but just as I reached my phone, someone burst through my bedroom door," Rogers told Channel 2. "There was a man, he was holding a gun and he told me to put my hands up and don't move."

While the three held Rogers upstairs, others were helping themselves to electronics in the home's recording studio, Rogers said.

Rogers' cousin, Mac Steve, and fellow musician Demarreo Bethea were performing at a club at the time of the burglary. Although the equipment was insured, all of the recorded work is gone, Steve said.

The musicians are asking for the computer hard drives to be returned, but vowed to rebuild their study.

DeKalb County police are investigating the incident.
