Across Gwinnett County, people are being asked to share their thoughts on transportation via a text-in campaign. The Great Exchange, as it is called, aims to involve 50,000 people in in-person or text conversations about how they get around in Gwinnett, and how they would like to.

By Monday afternoon, nearly 900 people had texted in responses. Hundreds of others will talk transportation in park-and-ride lots, at Rotary Club meetings and over lunch with friends.

The effort is led by the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District, and conversations are slated to occur all this week.

To find a conversation, see thegr8exchange.com. To participate in the survey, text "JOIN" to 74029.
