But despite his failing liver, Wyatt is a happy baby. His discolored complexion and yellow eyes are the only indication that something is wrong.

Wyatt was born with a rare infant end-stage liver disease called biliary atresia. No one knows what causes it, and there is no cure.

Wyatt's mother, Sara Baile, told WPXI that her son is the youngest child with type O blood on the transplant list in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and he can receive one from a living donor.

The baby has already spent almost half of his life in the hospital. He's also already had one major life-threatening surgery.

“We're just glad that he's home with us. Most of the babies that have this never leave the hospital,” Baile said.

In addition to a new liver, Wyatt needs a portal vessel that attaches to it.

Baile said she is keeping everyone informed on Wyatt's health on Facebook. She calls it a prayer page and hopes her prayers will be answered.

Many social media users have posted encouraging comments, offering prayers and saying they're willing test to become a liver donor.

Baile said her best friend went to the hospital to get tested to try to become a donor. She will know if she’s a match sometime next week.

In the meantime, Baile said she is trying to make life as normal as possible for Wyatt and his older sister.
