Since the electric company is using helicopters for the inspections, officials decided to dish out a warning to residents who may want to hide anything suspicious.

"Before you panic, hide your stolen car collection or dig up all your marijuana plants, it is not us," the Facebook status read. "It is Georgia Power. However, if you need help hiding your stolen car collection or your dope farm, give us a call We will be here all day."

While a few thought the post was “unprofessional,” most responded with laughing emojis and stickers.

One user wrote, “I absolutely love y'all's sense of humor! It makes my day," and another said, “Man who ever runs this page needs a raise.”

Since the post was created Thursday morning, it has received more than 6,000 reactions, more than 3,400 shares and over 200 comments.

Not a bad day for the sheriff office’s public relations team.
