The CHP said an officer woke Morgan by tapping on her window, but the car began moving and Morgan, who appeared highly intoxicated, could not stop it. The officer ran alongside and smashed the passenger-side window with his flashlight, stopped the car and pulled Morgan out.

Officers said they found a bottle of liquor, partially consumed, in the car.

Morgan was arrested and jailed on suspicion of DUI.
