A Gordon high school student who fell from a trailer Tuesday morning is expected to be released from a local hospital Wednesday, officials said.

Anna Mullinax, a senior at Sonoraville High School, fell to the pavement while filming a drunk driving public service announcement video, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Emergency responders, who were a part of the shoot, were already on the scene when Mullinax fell.

“Since we had a helicopter there, they did airlift her to Erlanger [Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee],” Allen Bowen, the associate principal, told Channel 2.

A spokesperson for Gordon County Schools said Mullinax will be released from the hospital Wednesday.

Mullinax will recover at her home for three weeks. An investigation is being conducted.
