Roy Pilkington was arrested for burglary and identity theft.
An ambulance had to be called because police said Pilkington fell through the attic floor as police were trying to take him into custody.
The victim told police it was surveillance footage on his phone that tipped him off that someone was at his house. Neighbors also noticed a white van out front.
According to the police report, the van was actually a rented U-Haul that Pilkington drove to the home.
Neighbor Paige Weitkamp said her mother saw officers approach the suspicious vehicle.
“The police were unloading the van and carrying stuff back inside. Then a tow truck showed up and took the van off,” Weitkamp said.
Police also found three fake driver’s licenses on Pilkington. He was also wanted on accusations of drug trafficking
