A former Georgia probation officer was sentenced to six years in prison for having sexual relations with a probationer in Rome, authorities said.

Anyoel Cordovi, 31, of Calhoun, also pleaded guilty to exchanging nude photos with another probationer under his supervision, the Rome News-Tribune reported. He was also accused of calling the probationer he exchanged photos with to warn her of an upcoming drug test.

His supervisor was informed of the explicit photos in April 2015, and he was allowed to resign in lieu of an investigation, the newspaper reported. A year later, a second victim told guards at the Floyd County jail that Cordovi went to her house and they had sex.

Cordovi had just been hired to work as a juvenile probation officer when he was arrested, the News-Tribune reported. He was taken into custody on his first day on the job.

When he’s released from prison, he will serve nine years on probation in addition to having to register as a sex offender, the newspaper reported.
