Surveillance video caught footage of a man stealing Donald Trump presidential campaign signs from a business in North Carolina.

Systems Depot sells security systems and cameras and placed some of its equipment near areas where signs have been stolen in the past.

The business turned over the video of a person stealing 10 Trump signs over to police.

"This is my free speech and if I want to put a sign up and say (that) I'm for Trump, that's my free speech," said business owner Wade Moose. "I don't want my rights taken away from me."

Police said they've already identified the person in the video, but have not released the name.

Officers are working to recover the signs that were stolen and make the person responsible return them.
