Police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead Monday in Cobb County, police said.

Police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead Monday in Cobb County, police said.

A Cobb County man shot and killed another man before turning the gun on himself, police said.

Officers were dispatched about 10:25 p.m. Monday to the 6000 block of Venetian Way, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said. When they arrived, they found both men dead from gunshot wounds.

The victim was identified as Dorian Myles Buck, 26, of Mableton, Pierce said. The shooter was identified as Dakota Preston Hill, 23, of Mableton.

The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting both autopsies.

It is unclear what caused the shooting.
