Two people were arrested after they stole at least $400 worth of handmade jewelry from a craft show at a Cobb County high school, according to authorities.

Hanna Lucile Andersson of Woodstock and Alan Avalos of Roswell were arrested Dec. 4 in connection with the incident at Lassiter High, according to jail records and arrest warrants.

Andersson and Avalos went into the school between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Nov. 4 with the intent to commit a felony or theft, officials said. They allegedly entered through an unsecured side door and went into the gym.

“The suspects are seen on the video camera system approaching several booths inside the gym, and at one point placing items into their pockets from vendor booths,” according to the warrants.

Both were charged with second-degree burglary and released on bond the same day they were arrested, according to jail records.
