Pointing what looks like a real gun at a law enforcement officer? Not smart.
Luckily for a 12-year-old Florida boy, no one was injured.
The 12-year-old apparently pointed what looked like a black .357 magnum revolver at an undercover Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy, then ran away, according to PBSO's Facebook page. The gun turned out to be a BB gun.
PBSO caught the kid, and took him into custody, although it is unclear if the boy was charged with a crime.
The PBSO Facebook post doesn't say when the incident happened, or where, but it does link to a YouTube video of Sheriff Ric Bradshaw talking about the danger of fake guns.
