Athens-Clarke County police have released surveillance footage of a man who is suspected of rape in the downtown area, according to a media report.

The suspect reportedly followed a woman home earlier in April from The Grill on College Avenue and talked his way into her residence, the Athens Banner-Herald reported. The surveillance photo is from the restaurant.

The victim, 21, described the suspect as about 5-foot-10, with a full brown beard and light-colored eyes.
