The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously at a Dec. 29 special called meeting to approve a resolution finalizing and adopting a service delivery strategy agreement.

Earlier in 2020 the board approved a joint resolution and agreed on 38 different services that either the county or one of its four cities would offer to residents who live within city limits. The services that were previously approved were highlighted during this meeting as well as other services that were added to the agreement, with each municipality’s responsibilities covered in detail. According to officials, the new resolution would be shared with each city and the county would await their response.
