Norcross is accepting applications for the Tree Preservation Board, Historic Preservation Commission, Architectural Review Board and Sustainable Norcross Commission.

The Tree Preservation Board is responsible for the preservation of trees and conservation of tree canopy cover within the city. They meet bi-monthly at 10 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month. The city is seeking professional expertise in arboriculture or horticulture or land development/construction to fill this vacancy. There is one position available.

The Historic Preservation Commission is responsible for the designation, protection, preservation and rehabilitation of historic properties and historic districts in Norcross. They meet quarterly at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday. There are three positions available.

The Architectural Review Board is responsible for reviewing development proposals citywide. They meet at 6:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. One position is available.

The Sustainable Norcross Commission is responsible for educating citizens and advising the city regarding sustainability and environmental matters. This includes programs such as the Norcross Community Market and Bike/Ped Community. They meet at 6:00 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month and have one position available.
