Braselton will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 in the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Facility, 5040 Highway 53 to discuss the 2021-2025 Capital Improvement Element update. The purpose of this hearing is to inform the public about the plan’s objective, the process ahead in the preparation of the plan update, and to provide the community an opportunity to provide input on needs and goals.
The Department of Capital Projects manages all phases of the town’s capital improvement projects. These projects, valued at greater than $10,000 include purchases of equipment, goods, and services related to water treatment and delivery, wastewater collection and treatment, stormwater infrastructure, municipal facilities, roads and parks.
The town is required by the state to annually update the capital projects plan, which covers a span of 5 years. Information: www.tinyurl.com/BraseltonPlans.
