COVID-19 vaccines at the North Georgia State Fair. Cobb & Douglas Public Health and CORE will offer vaccines at the fair Oct. 1-3 at Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road, Marietta. Everyone who receives the vaccine at the fair will be given a ticket for free admission and unlimited rides for one person. Also, Superior Plumbing is donating a $500 VISA gift card for a drawing. Open House at Brumby Hall and Gardens. 1-4 p.m. Oct. 3. 472 Powder Springs St., Marietta. View the event space and inquire about booking the facility for special events. Facility coordinators will be on-site to answer questions about the gardens or booking process. Clients who book an event that day within 365 days of the open house date with a nonrefundable deposit will be offered a 15% discount on their venue rental.
