Ohio twins who served in World War II celebrated their 90th birthday Wednesday.
Robert and Norbert Barhorst were born on March 16, 1926 and both men enlisted in the Navy during World War II. Both were assigned to the U.S.S. Farenholt, which was assigned to the South Pacific.
Both men received honorary discharges from the military in 1946.
Robert lives in Dayton and is retired from General Motors.
Norbert lives in West Carrollton and is retired from NCR.
