Where can I find it?

Q: Years ago, I could find Fletcher's Castoria in just about any drugstore. But, it doesn't seem to be available these days. I don't mind ordering it, I just don't know where to look. Thank you for your help. — M. Carroll, email

A: Fletcher’s Castoria, for children and adults, is alcohol free, made from natural senna and boasts the flavor of root beer. You can order 2.5-ounce bottles for $7.99 through millersrexall.com or by calling 404-523-8481.

Q: I would be very grateful if you could help me with my favorite hobby of collecting plates. Hanging plates without any racks is my goal. There are plate hanging discs that glue onto the back of plates. They are sold online, but are there any local stores that offer these? Thank you so much. — Shelley Stegg, Norcross

A: Shelley, you have a couple of options where you can find the invisible adhesive plate hangers you’re seeking. At the Container Store, 120 Perimeter Center West, Atlanta, 770-351-0065, you can select from adhesive plate hangers that attach to the smooth surface of a plate or bowl. They also work on wood. Sizes include 2-inch diameter, 3-inch diameter and 4-inch diameter, and prices range from $3.49 to $5.29 each. Hobby Lobby, 1825 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, 678-476-3967, offers two sizes of the adhesive plate holders: a 3-inch disc sells for $1.99 and the 4-inch costs $2.99. You’ll find them in the home accents section of the store.

Q: I am trying to find Nalley chili in the Atlanta area, if possible. I know that the Nalley company has shut down, but I believe that another company has bought them out and that it is still being made, or the same recipe is being used under a different name. Can you check to see if I can find this brand either online or in a store? Thank you. — Dennis Bourn, email

A: Dennis, Nalley original chili is still around, but it’s now owned by Pinnacle Foods and isn’t sold in the area. But you can order a case of 12 15-ounce cans of the chili for $33 through amazon.com.

Q: My husband prefers a strong ginger ale and I'd like to find Blenheim because I heard this has a lot more flavor than other ginger ales. Any idea where I could find it? I'm not having any luck. Thank you. — Elsie Pearson, Atlanta

A: Elsie, your husband is going to really get a jolt when you bring home not just Blenheim ginger ale, which is stronger than many others, but the company’s extra hot version with the red cap. This is a bold carbonated drink that delivers plenty of heat. Blenheim, family owned in South Carolina, is available in 12-ounce bottles for $1.99 each at David’s Produce and Country Store, 3561 Lavista Road, 404-325-0709. The store also carries regular and diet Blenheim ginger ale.
