A California photographer was thrilled when he captured a large rainbow on the beach, but it turns out that he found much more.

After Dan McGeorge took photos of the rainbow, he was walking along the beach when a couple told him they had just become engaged and asked him to take a photo of them with their phone.

Later, as he was examining the images that he shot on the beach, he realized that he had caught their proposal moment with the rainbow overhead.

McGeorge shared his story with a local news station and has taken to social media to help find the couple. He would like to give them a framed canvas print of the special moment.
