In case you needed more proof that social media has taken over society, the latest baby names survey has revealed a trend that some may find disturbing.

According to BabyCenter.com's hottest baby name trends of 2015, naming your kid after an Instagram filter has become increasingly popular this year. That's right, say hello to Lux, Juno, Valencia and Amaro.

BabyCenter.com says that the name Lux is up 75 percent on their boys’ name list, though they point out that Lux is technically a photo-editing tool and not a filter. For girls, Juno increased 30 percent in popularity.

The new baby name trend is being referred to as #Instagrambabies.
