Sometimes, a “flea” is a good thing for a pet.
Mostly Mutts will kick off its 11th annual flea market to benefit homeless animals.
Beginning at noon Friday, the nonprofit will accept donations at 6065 Highway 92 in Acworth.
Accepted items include furniture, kitchen supplies, tools, jewelry, art, books and small appliances in good working order.
Items that can’t be accepted are computers, television, large appliances, mattresses and car seats.
For a list of drop-off times, go to www.mostlymutts.org.
The “Flea” Market opening weekend will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 1 and March 2; and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on March 3.
After that, the market will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays through the end of March.
Last year, the event raised more than $30,000.
