The company offered quite a  deal.

For only $5, you...

get...

absolutely...

NOTHING!

Yes, and it was all spelled out on the game's website.

To confirm that customers understood what exactly they were not getting for their $5, customers checked a box that stated they would give the company $5 and get nothing in return.

By the end of the day, "Cards Against Humanity" has earned, for lack of a better word, more than $71,000.

As for what became of the windfall, the company posted a message on its website that said while it is known for charitable giving, this year, the company kept all of the Black Friday proceeds and gave it to employees. A breakdown of how each employee reportedly spent their share is posted, many of which include charitable donations.

And if you're wondering why anyone would give a company $5 without getting something in return. The FAQs said, "Because the greatest Black Friday gift of all is buying nothing. We're offering that for the rock-bottom price of $5. How can you afford NOT to seize this incredible opportunity?"
