The Seattle Aquarium held an octopus ‘blind date’ on Valentine’s Day this year.
The two giant Pacific octopuses – with six combined hearts (three each!) – met early Saturday afternoon.
According to the aquarium's website, the mood was set with "decorative hearts, roses and romantic music."
Afterward, the aquarium announced the two octopuses had a successful first date.
"Franklin was a little shy in the beginning, but in the end Hazel fell for his charm," according to the Seattle Aquarium's Facebook page.
