The 32nd annual Hunger Walk is this Sunday, and it’s not too late to join in. The 5K walk and fun run raises money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and other local nonprofits that fight to eradicate hunger.  The event starts at Turner Field, and participants walk and run through downtown Atlanta.

There are several ways to get involved. Register as an individual or as a team. Registration is $25 for a walker and $35 for a runner. Participants are encouraged to raise money through their personal and professional relationships.  People can also donate directly to individuals and teams.

If you would rather stay in bed on Sunday morning – it is daylight saving time after all – there is still a way for you to contribute. More than 50 restaurants are participating in this year's Dine & Donate. Participating restaurants will either add a line for customers to make a donation to the Hunger Walk or will donate a portion of their sales. Diners have until March 13 to take advantage.

To date, the Hunger Walk has raised more than $7 million. This year’s goal is $1 million.
