Meet Seth Lane.

Seth is a 5-year-old boy suffering from severe combined immunodeficiency, sometimes called "bubble boy disease."

Because he's so susceptible to germs, Seth has been living in a sterile hospital room for most of his life. His first bone marrow transplant was unsuccessful, forcing him to live in a plastic "bubble" for two years.

"He had no contact with other children until he was 2-and-a-half," his dad told the Daily Mail.

After getting his strength back, Seth went to school and made lots of friends. Shortly after, though, he became sick. He has been at The Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle, England, ever since.

As he gets ready to have his second bone marrow transplant, Seth has one wish -- for the world to wear his favorite color, yellow, for just one day.

His parents created a video of Seth holding up yellow cards asking people around the world to support him as he awaits his surgery.

"On 27th March 2015 lots of people are going to wear yellow to show me how much support I have. Are you going to join in?" the cards read.

Everyone who participates is encouraged to post a picture of themselves to social media wearing yellow on March 27 with the hashtag #WearYellowForSeth. His family will then print out the pictures and hang them in his hospital room so little Seth knows how many people are thinking of him.
