Learn all about beer and fermentation this week during the Atlanta Science Festival.

For $18, "Science of Beer" will offer interactive home brewing demonstrations. Additionally, participants will be able to sample beers in a keepsake Atlanta Science Festival beaker glass and tour Sweetwater Brewing Company.

The event is a result of a collaboration between Georgia Tech School of Physics and SweetWater Brewing Company.

"The Science of Beer" is one of about 100 events that the festival is hosting around Atlanta.

Since 2014, the annual Atlanta Science Festival has been partnering with local organizations, parks, museums and universities to put on events that are not only educational, but also a blast to attend.

This year's festival kicked off on March 19 with events such as Superhero Science Night at the Children's Museum of Atlanta. The festival ends March 26.

If you're having trouble deciding what Atlanta Science Festival events to attend, don't worry. The AJC has selected 15 can't-miss events to make deciding a bit easier.
