But residents in the area said they’re worried about the home project in their neighborhood.

Neighbors said they are a little apprehensive about who might win it and hope it’s someone with enough money to pay the taxes and to keep the property looking nice.

Neighbors said they’ve had people driving by every day to look at the progress of the home, which is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the Indian River..

“It is paradise here. You can’t go wrong here. It’s nice,” said resident Ann Taylor.

2016 marks the 20th year for the network’s home give away contest. For the first time, HGTV is rebuilding an existing home.

It posted photos of the home on its website, showing a private dock, swimming pool and a waterfront view.

The contest won’t open until late December, but each year millions of people enter for a chance to win.
