"Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan was critically injured Saturday morning in a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey turnpike, CNN and NBC News are reporting.

At least one person died in the wreck, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Gregory William told CNN.

Morgan was in a limo bus with five other people during the crash, which also involved two tractor-trailers, NBC Philadelphia reported. Morgan is now in intensive care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Center in New Brunswick, N.J.

According to the Associated Press report, a  publicist for Morgan says the actor remains in critical condition and his family doesn't expect much immediate change in his condition. The publicist said Morgan "is receiving excellent care" at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, which is located near the crash site.
